Border Irrigation Modeling with the Barré de Saint-Venant and Green and Ampt Equations

In gravity irrigation, how water is distributed in the soil profile makes it necessary to study and develop methodologies model process of infiltration redistribution. this work, a shown simulate advancing front border irrigation based on one dimensional equations Barré de Saint-Venant for surface flow equation Green Ampt porous medium. The solutions were obtained numerically using finite difference Lagrangian scheme Raphson method subsurface flow. was validated with data from literature an test its predictive capacity compared another showed excellent results. hydrodynamic parameters soil, obtain optimal discharge, through solution inverse problem Levenberg–Marquardt optimization algorithm. Finally, results found here allow us recommend that be used design since uses characteristic physical soil.
